What is Prometheus?
Prometheus is a complete energy harvesting module for rapid prototyping and production. It can power your device directly, or recharge a battery or supercapacitor.

Prometheus converts thermal energy between small temperature gradients into useful electrical output.

Each Prometheus module integrates a MATRIX Gemini Thermoelectric Generator (TEG) with a MATRIX Mercury Energy Harvesting Boost Converter.
This patented technology ensures perfect electrical impedance matching between the TEG and its companion Boost Converter. Such integration enables Prometheus to produce much greater output current than equivalent competitive solutions under identical conditions.
The Numbers
Because Prometheus offers several maximum output voltages (VOUT) between 2V and 5V it can directly power integrated circuits and charge various battery chemistries without the need for additional charger circuitry.
Each module’s integrated VOUT regulation prevents voltage overshoot, securing reliable operation with various battery types.
